Magic Singh is the stage name of London born Amardeep Singh Dhanjal, who began his magic career at the tender age of 11 on receiving a deck of trick cards from his parents at chirstmas. There was no looking back; Amardeep’s talent was unmistakable. Entirely self- taught, he carried his cards with him everywhere, poring over books and journals in the local library and studying perched at his parents’ computer for endless days. With practice came rapid growth in his confidence and ability: At home he wowed family with his tricks and slights of hand. At school he held court to crowds of curious students and enthralled teachers on the playground concourse. So the name Magic Singh was born. By 15 Amardeep was a fully-fledged member of the esteemed 'The Young Magician's Circle,' a club for talented children magicians. He won access to the secret journals and papers of The Magic Circle HQ in London. Further study and fully-fledged membership of the elite ‘The Magic Circle’ followed suit at 18. Today, highly respected and widely considered one of the UK’s finest magical talents, Magic Singh transports his brilliantly unique and modern style of visual magic and mindreading to all corners of the globe, enchanting high-profile audiences everywhere from festivals to weddings, private parties, charity galas and corporate celebrations. Dame Judy Dench, Craig David, Wladimir Klitschko, Sachin Tendulkar, The Ambani’s, Emili Sande, Peter Andre, Keith Lemon, The Black Eyed Peas, Phill Jupitus, Simon Pegg, Amitabh Bachchan, Hritik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kaboor, Shilpa Shetty, Jackie Sheroff and many more have been thrilled and astonished by his wondrous work both on stage and intimately amongst his audience at the closest quarters. In 2018 Amardeep was honoured when we was asked to travel to Chandigarh, North India and deliver a TEDx talk on magic as an art form.
