Launched in 2017, Build My Gift was created out of a need for better gifting solutions. Gifting options have previously been limited to ready-made hampers, often containing unwanted items, or the option to make a hamper at home, which can be costly or time consuming. When a close family member fell ill and had to be admitted to hospital the usual flowers and gifts just didn’t seem appropriate – they were neither personal nor impactful. We were bored of cookie-cutter gifting and frustrated with the lack of choice on the market, it was then that we came up with the concept behind Build My Gift. More than ever people are focused on personalisation but as they become increasingly time poor they require a one-stop-shop – Build My Gift was the answer to this.
